Eligibility
For any applicant to be eligible to participate in the NABARD CCF program, the following set of criteria must be satisfied:
· Focus Areas – Applicants are only allowed to apply with Ideas related to agriculture and rural development like Agriculture and Agritech Food Technology Supply/ Value Chain Precession Farming Agriculture/ Animal Genomics & Biotechnology Plant /Animal Breeding Bio Environmental Engineering Micro/Macro Molecules Post-harvest Processes & Value addition Microbiology Diagnostics Veterinary Fisheries Forestry Dairy Technology Horticulture Farm machinery Soil and Irrigation Bio-Fuels/Energy Bioinformatics other allied areas related to agriculture and allied sciences irrigation, seeds, bio-pesticides, bio fertilizers, precision farming, agro processing, marketing, bio fuel, drinking water, sanitation, rural based traditional and non-traditional activities, energy, health, education etc. and any other field directly or indirectly benefitting rural areas. Entries with ideas outside the given boundaries of focus area mentioned above will be disqualified.
· Stage of Start-up – Either entity with proof of concept or startups that have done customer survey or market surveys or ready to launch their product/services or been in startup business.
· Dedication – Applicants who reach the pitching stage must testify that they will dedicate their full time/efforts to lead their projects when incubated & NABARD CCF supported and that there are no legal or social or vocational constraints that would forbid them from doing so.
· Location – Applicants who are residents of India or the shareholding by Indian promoters in the incubatee startup should be at least 51%. This support is not meant for Indian Subsidiaries of MNCs /foreign companies.
· Legal - A registered start-up with a minimum of three months (physical or virtual) of incubation support at aIDEA ICAR NAARM (incubation support shall be provided to successful startups as per a-IDEA IACE NAARM norms). It should be an Indian start-up in the field of agriculture, allied or other identified sectors benefitting rural areas.
· Startup Registration - Start-ups shall possess DPIIT (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade) startup certification, at the time of applying for CCF.
· Innovation – Entity should be working in the area of innovation and must have at least a unique/innovative product or services/idea.
· Startup Age – The company should be incorporated in less than 5 years from at the time of application to be eligible for NABARD CCF
· Pending Dues - The start-ups applicants/entity/startup shall not have any other pending dues with any of the Government agencies and shall not be blacklisted by any Govt. agency in India.
· SEED support - In case a startup has raised money from any Government agency / Govt. support, it will also be eligible for seed/catalytic capital support. However, a startup should not avail seed/catalytic capital from more than one Incubation Centre supported by NABARD.
