IIT Bhilai Innovation & Technology Foundation invites ideas to “Create Self-Reliant, Climate-Appropriate Housing Solution for Rural Beneficiaries under PMAY in Chhattisgarh”

This initiative seeks to identify innovative, technological, and practical solutions that enhance housing construction techniques under the PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) – Rural scheme. Participants are encouraged to submit groundbreaking ideas that address key challenges faced during PMAY implementation, especially slow construction pace. The idea shall encourage use of locally available materials to construct a culturally accommodating design meeting PMAY standard conditions. The event emphasizes humane, ethical approaches and promotes the integration of advanced construction technologies with locally suitable materials to create cost-effective, climate-appropriate, and durable homes. The goal is to empower rural beneficiaries by enabling them to build their homes independently, ensuring both comfort and sustainability using experienced and well trained professional organisations.
