The Government of Uttar Pradesh recognizes the significance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and entrepreneurship. To support these areas, the UP Government, under its flagship scheme Start in UP, has entrusted FIRST, IIT Kanpur, with the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence and Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurship (AIIDE) Centre of Excellence (CoE).

The CoE, headquartered in Noida, operates in partnership with FICCI and focuses on key verticals such as AI, ICT, IoT, Cybersecurity, Augmented Reality, and more. Its mission is to facilitate the incorporation, incubation, and acceleration of startups in these sectors.

Having successfully supported around 100 startups across three cohorts, AIIDE is now launching Cohort-4 in December 2024.

This initiative invites applications from new and existing startups, as well as budding entrepreneurs, aiming to foster innovative ideas and advancements in AI/ML, thereby contributing to India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
